Payment Options
At Payneham Veterinary Centre, we offer flexible veterinary payment options to support families across Adelaide, SA, ensuring pets receive the treatment they need when they need it most.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept a range of convenient payment types to make your visit as smooth as possible:
Credit and Debit Cards
EFTPOS
Cash
Payment is required at the time of your appointment, and our team is always happy to explain itemised costs or answer questions about your pet’s treatment plan.
GapOnly® – On the Spot Pet Insurance Claims
We proudly offer GapOnly®, a fast and simple way to claim your eligible pet insurance benefits directly at the clinic.
How GapOnly® works:
- Instead of paying the full invoice upfront and waiting for reimbursement, GapOnly® processes your claim during your visit—usually within 10 minutes—so you only pay the gap (the amount not covered by insurance).
- This service helps reduce out-of-pocket expenses and makes managing veterinary costs easier and more predictable for pet owners.
- If your pet is insured, phone the clinic before your visit to check your eligibility for GapOnly®.
VetPay – Manage Costs with a Payment Plan
For families needing support with higher or unexpected costs, we offer VetPay, a finance option that spreads the cost of veterinary treatment over manageable instalments.
VetPay details:
- Apply online before your appointment
- A pre-approval number is required when finalising your account
- A 10% deposit is required for first-time users
- Interest applies (details available on the VetPay website)
- 12-month terms available
VetPay is designed to help you act quickly when your pet needs care, without delaying essential treatment.
Pet Insurance Support
Pet insurance can provide peace of mind by covering a significant portion of unexpected veterinary costs. While we can’t offer financial advice or recommend specific policies, we’re always happy to help you:
- Understand how your cover applies to our services
- Process GapOnly® claims where eligible
- Provide the documentation needed for manual claims
